Earlier this month, we opened our Turtle Creek showroom doors to the dynamic Dallas design community for an exciting evening in partnership with PaperCity Dallas, and special guests Beth Dotolo and Carolina Gentry of Pulp Design Studios. This lively gathering was all about celebrating fearless design, creativity, collaboration, and the latest trends in surface design.
Billy Fong, Editor-in-Chief of PaperCity Dallas, moderated a lively discussion with Beth and Carolina, where they shared their journey since establishing Pulp Designs in 2007.
With over 20 years of experience, Beth has built a reputation for her imaginative and innovative designs, while Carolina’s extensive background in crafting eye-catching interiors for luxury hotels adds an important aspect to their expertise. Their dynamic partnership has contributed to their studio’s recognition in Dallas, Seattle, and Los Angeles.
Beth and Carolina discussed the concept of fearless design, emphasizing the importance of making timeless design choices that strike a balance between functionality and style. They also gave advice on encouraging clients to take risks and highlighted the significance of infusing personality into their designs.
Guests were also treated to the melodies of local pianist Lindsay Knight, whose performance added an enchanting ambiance to the evening. The culinary delights from Heart to Heart Catering made for a perfect blend of good company and great food.
The energy in the showroom was infectious as we showcased our latest tile collections, and standout slabs. Attendees had the opportunity to touch and feel the materials and imagine the possibilities for their own designs.
This is just the beginning! Stay tuned for more exciting collaborations between Walker Zanger and Pulp Design Studios. We can’t wait to see where this creative journey takes us next!
